Why APPI: “Jumping” a tower crane is the term used to describe when additional mast sections are added to increase the height of the crane. Part of this process includes “jumping” the man lift elevator used by the operator to access the cab.

Mounted on a davit arm that is secured to the mast, their compact size, reliable design and low maintenance requirements made them an ideal match for this demanding application.
