Why APPI: As part of a program to improve work flow, Dual Design & Machine built a material lift to move parts between work levels in their plant. As it was custom designed and built they needed a suitable AC hoist to provide the needed lift for the platform. After searching the internet and talking to some of their market contacts, they called Allied Power Products to help select a hoist that would meet their application requirements.
Working closely with Mark Vanderheyden, the owner of DDM, Inc., we were able to quickly determine one of our Columbia HD1000-1A34-L-01 matched up perfectly with their specifications for the material lift hoist.
