Why APPI: It’s not glamorous, but removing large volumes of cow manure from their barn is a daily requirement at the Birchwood Farm and Dairy.
Mike Tierney, their operations manager, said they searched the web looking for a company that could provide them with two positioning winches that would be used to pull a manure scraper back and forth across a barn floor.
They purchased two of our Columbia WD1300 AC electric winches for this task after conducting an extended web search. Mike said our knowledge and expertise when discussing various solutions convinced him our Columbia winches were the right choice and that the time savings they will provide is exciting to him.
And yes, it was tough but all the moo and bull puns and references have been removed to help ensure this time and labor saving application is taken seriously.
