Why APPI: When the Idaho Fish and Game was designing a new fish weir structure for the LEMHI River fish trap, they needed a rugged compact winch to allow cable height adjustments to the weir as well as tensioning the cable when needed during the capture of ES listed salmon species. Recovery of the salmon during spawning is critical to ensure that future generations of salmon are preserved through their eggs.
