Why APPI:  Our “pallet gantry” was designed to provide a convenient way to lift and position material and components in six planes in areas with restricted access.  As noted by Rich Bobrzynski, Jr., Matthews manufacturing manager, “The Columbia gantry is working out perfectly.  We are using it to load heavy pieces of raw material onto our saw from carts, pallets, or the floor.  This was part of a safety corrective action that improved the ergonomics of our machinists loading the heavy raw material by hand.”
