Why APPI: For more than 50 years, Vactor, Inc. has been manufacturing vacuum trucks for sewer cleaning and infrastructure maintenance. A key feature on these trucks is an extendible boom that allows the vacuum tip to be easily positioned.
In 2009 they purchased one of our Columbia WF7000 AC electric winches equipped with a strap for pulling these boom assemblies together. After 10 years of perfect performance, Ryan Leman, the supervisor in their jig and fixture department contacted us and asked for another unit to match the first one we provided.
The good news for both of us is that this unit will be used in a new manufacturing line they are putting together. Ryan said this purchase was made with zero apprehension or doubt about how the unit would work for them.
Please contact us if you would like more information about this boom assembly winch or any of our other products and services.
